Even though Simon "raked him over the coals" for song choice, I think he missed what makes David SO SPECIAL! <br /><br />With David's youth there is an element of authenticity for meaning what he sings and despite his age, the wisdom and compassion he has seems to effortlessly find its way through his incredible voice! Shoot! I think he could sing "Mary Had A Little Lamb", and give it a whole new meaning! :)<br /><br />I'm glad he took the opportunity to share his musical talent with the rest of the world last night...for those that haven't seen his Thousand Miles video (see below), David's musical talent stretches far beyond just his singing ability. <br /><br />I am anxious to get to the Finals...in my opinion his competition is diverse and there is no one who matches his vocal talent. David's voice and rendition of John Lennon's song,<br />"Imagine" was absolutely captivating. Such soul and<br />sincerity for such a young man!
